Interview Notes

I am waiting on just a couple of interview notes. Times are filling up fast so if you can get these in as soon as possible that would be great. I will send duplicates home later in the week if I don't get them back earlier, but please let me know if you definitely need or don't need a note (I like to save paper where I can!). I have sent home the time that you have been allocated (I hope it has reached you, I have stressed this to the children) and am looking forward to seeing you then. Please let me know if you are unable to make it for any reason or if you have double booked yourself. - Miss Ford.

Ngutana-Lui Cultural Centre

3F and 3C had so much fun yesterday on our excursion to Ngutana-Lui Cultural Centre. We learnt about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and even got to throw a boomerang! That was definitely my favourite part of the day!
Below are some pictures to show you some of the exciting activities we participated in including Indigenous face painting and dancing (the boys were very good at this!).

Parent Helpers

The week after swimming concludes, Monday the 14th of March, 3F will be getting back to our routine of Literacy Rotations as well as Spelling. Both of these will require extra helpers for simple tasks like reading, some book work and other short activities and I would love any parents/guardians help throughout the week at the following times:

Monday - 12:00 - 12:30
Tuesday - 12:30 - 1:30
Wednesday -9:45 - 10:45
Thursday - 12:30 - 1:30
Friday - 11:30 - 12:30

Please inform me via your child's 'kit book' (hopefully they've shown it to you by now!) if you wish to help! Thanks!

Swimming

Tuesday the 1st of March to Friday the 11th of March (excluding Monday's) are 3F's swimming dates.
Please make sure your child has:

- togs
- a swimming cap
- goggles
- sunscreen (please try to put on before school)
- hat
- towel
- footwear for the walk (thongs or sandals)
- swimming bag to put all equipment in

I have told the students to wear their togs underneath their school clothes and to bring underwear with them as our lesson time is 9:30am.

On another note, I am also waiting on a couple of ICT permission notes and many of the head lice notes. If you could return these as soon as possible I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
